We have an Associate Engineer position located in Glendale, NY. The Associate Engineer shall be responsible for intermediate to advanced engineering work in electrical distribution system, process control, communication, lighting , fire alarm, and security systems for facilities , commercial and institutional buildings.

Responsibilities:

Plans, direct coordinate activities of assigned projects to achieve the goals of the project within prescribed timeframe and funding parameters.

Manages all project documentation including, but not limited to bid documents, dob filing, submittals, shop drawings, construction drawings and revisions, as-built drawings, RFI’s, CPM schedule, project progress billing, and change orders.

Performs service load coordination and short circuit studies, testing and commissioning systems and facilities per code and regulations.

Provide technical support with related disciplines such as mechanical, plumbing or civil. Designs and coordinates application or related works including but not limited to foundations and pads, trenches structural frames, manholes duct banks, vaults, pole bases, piping systems, air systems, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, air handlers, fuel oil systems, rigging heavy equipment.
